Introduction
Phawngpui (Blue Mountain) National Park in Mizoram is one of India’s most celebrated national parks. Located in the Lawngtlai district, Phawngpui National Park protects Blue Mountain (2,157 m), the highest peak in Mizoram, revered as the abode of the gods.

The national park lies in the Lawngtlai region of Mizoram. Drive to Sangau village, then 10 km trek to Phawngpui peak.

Notified in 1992 under the Wildlife Protection Act.
