Introduction

Location
The national park lies in the Great Nicobar Island region of Andaman & Nicobar Islands. Accessible by government passenger vessel or helicopter service from Port Blair to Campbell Bay jetty.
History
Campbell Bay was notified as a National Park in July 1992 under the Wildlife Protection Act to preserve the untouched equatorial rainforests of Great Nicobar Island and protect indigenous Nicobarese tribal territories and endemic species.
